San Francisco - March 2004
So near the end of March I flew out to San Francisco for a week of ASQ's Software Quality Engineer training. Since the trip was for training, I arrived Sunday and left the following Saturday, and in between sat on a hotel chair from 8AM to 5PM each day :) The training actually was very worthwhile, so there's no complaints about that.

Outside of training I was very fortunate to have a Sunday of site seeing with Mike and Carrie, various evenings haning out with Gil, Eve, Mike and Carrie, and the lovely visit of April at the end of the week :)

Some random facts:
San Francisco has a lot of hills.
The German restaurant that Gil and Eve, Mike and Carrie, and April and I went to, was next to an erotic cake shop.

Lombard Street - the curviest bit of road in the world apparently. Also very hilly, and the white car did not enjoy that at all. Much thanks goes to the white car for bravely climbing those hills for us!

Alcatraz!!

Sea lions at the pier area - they're cool

Forbes Island - a floating restaurant

The Golden Gate Bridge - it is absolutely amazing how quickly that fog comes in... really amazing!
