March 2003 - Visit to St Louis
Here are a few photos from my weekend visiting Kimberly and St Louis. I had a great weekend and met her fiancee Greg, and a lot of her family (in Pittsfield, IL). All very nice people. :)

Some random facts:
I tried peach pie, which I think is a first, and enjoyed it.
I believe the photo here is the first of me with contacts.
Anheuser-Busch makes an awful lot of beer.
Kimberly and her sister Jessica are both becoming dentists, and their dad is already one.
Kimberly's parents have the biggest collie dog I've ever seen - I should have taken a photo.

The many beers and other beverages that Anheuser-Busch Inc. produce, displayed in the entrance of their visitor's center. St. Louis is the headquarters of Anheuser-Busch, the company that makes Budweiser. Check out the brewery tour... it's free, it's fun, and there's beer tasting at the end (with pretzels). Yum.

Greg and Kimberly posing for a photo in front of the tasty beverages.

Kimberly and me in front of a Budweiser sponsored car. Looks like Nascar to me, but I dunno' for sure.

One of the famous Clydesdale horses.

An impressive looking brewery building. Their factory complex is enormous.

The "Mashing Process"

And what trip to St. Louis would be complete without a trip to the arch? I was impressed... I had no idea how big it really is, or that it's all clad in shiny metal.
